This clearing at the fork in the road where you access Lake Bluff side of the cabins provided a fantastic array of light, color, and tree shapes.

I thought the different shape structures made for an interesting and challenging composition structure. This was started on the patio outside the Main/Dining Hall Building and there is an accompanying film segment that was made by the Kentucky State Parks during the initial sketch out of this work.

I was fascinated by the large State Dock area accessible from the Park. The mirror "V" shapes created by the sky and the water was something I wanted try compositionally.
